Boatbags: what are they?

A boatbag is an easy, cost-effective and environmentally friendly way to keep your hull free from marine growth.

The bag protects your hull without the use of harmful chemicals found in antifoul.

What's in it for you?

Cost: A boatbag will dramatically reduce the costs associated with antifoul and slipping your boat. It will also eliminate the need for (illegal!) diving on your boat.

Ease: The self-closing bag actually makes it easier to get onto a normal swing mooring, and still looks tidy in the water. Exiting is just as simple.

Environmentally friendly: There's no doubt that antifoul poisons marine life. Not only is it harmful to our oceans, the regulations on the chemicals mean that it's becoming less effective as the years go by. Our EPA approved alternative involves only a couple of tablets of chlorine in the bag, with concentration of chlorine found to be lower than that in a glass of drinking water.

Boatbags have been keeping boats clean for thirty years around Australia, and we've even supplied bags around the world in places like Canada, New Zealand, Spain and Singapore. They're hassle free, easy to use and better for the environment. As boatowners ourselves, we're committed to providing you with the best possible boating experience.
